Introduction
In this project we studied the unique way individuals walk or gait. To do this we used accelerators on participants to collect data on how fast each person was moving various parts of their body in three dimensional space. We then imputed the data gained into a spread sheet to help in data analysis. We then used this data to create equation that can make predictions on both the height and age of participants. After gathering and analyzing our data we constructed a research paper detailing our data and discoveries, along with a short presentation that focuses on explaining our analysis and how it predicts what it does.
Terms
Gait: Is the manner and pattern in which a person walks. In this project we measured gait using accelerators attached to an individuals legs and center of gravity to detect the speed a person moves their legs and how their mass shifts as they move.
Mathematical Modeling: When you take collected data and use modeling to help analyze and visualize it. This can be visualized through the use of graphing calculators, computer spread sheets and charts. You then use these models to detect trends an other details that can be hidden in mass numeric's.
Predictive Modeling: When you take collected data and analyze trend's within it to make a prediction regarding what may happen in the future or what other forms of data may look like. In our project we used this process to try to predict height and age.

Conclusion
This project was very interesting as although it has a lot less steps then the prior reverse engineering project as a whole it was much more complex. This was do to the project being placed near the middle of other events in class such as the senior capstone project. This meant a lot of group members were separated to do things for that which greatly limited the total amount of work that individuals could provide during project. Because of this one area this project showed that I could work on is time management. This is because I feel I only contributed heavily to the process during the last few days of work time as I was busy doing other things and I feel that if a managed my time better it would have gotten done in a much more smooth way. Another thing I could have improved on is communication and management as I feel that there were many times where in which I could have worked to try to get my group to focus more directly on the project and stop doing side stuff. This is especially true during data collection where instead of it taking a few periods it took almost the entire project which I believe could be much more improved. One area I believed a I preformed well on is commitment. Where even though I didn't work on it as consistently as I would have liked. I believe that when I did work on it I made a lot of progress during each of those times. Another area I did well on was in analyzing is double checking work done and making sure it was correct. This came into play primarily when we were making predictions based on the data where I went over the data extensively to make sure the predictions were logical conclusions based on the data gathered, which lead to two or three revisions during the process.
